Gap Farm - January 2010

The Tyne teams had a cracking start to the 2010 flyball season with some excellent racing on a new indoor surface at Gap Farm.

The Notts and Kiveton teams hosted a very successful tournament at a new venue on a new running surface. The flooring was great with no damage to delicate pads - it certainly has the Meg seal of approval!

We had four teams running and we welcomed Jack, Kate and Bille to the team.

In addition Amber, Nell and Blaze made successful division debuts - well done guys, they were great!!

Although we only had one team placed - the Tyne Trawlers with 2nd in division 2 - we had a great day and the dogs ran brilliantly. The Tinkers only broke out twice (lol), the Tailgunners got a new seed time (eek!) and the Tailspinners saw Nell get her first points - thanks for letting her have a go!

Huge well done to Mandy and Tina for getting the points for your flyball dog award - all that hard work has paid off - she ran great.

Big well done also to Clem and Blaze for getting your flyball dog points and to Lauren and Cassie for reaching FD Intermediate.

Congratulations to Leslie and Will - not a paw wrong - and he was looking fab!

Welcome and congratulations also to Ellen, first competition and a great job of handling Meg! And thanks to Joe for all your help with Nell.

And a final thanks to everyone who helped me get there on Sunday after both my van and our car ended up in the garage.
